Wake to Play in 2017 Paradise Jam

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest men’s basketball team will compete in the 2017 U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam as the tournament announced next year’s eight-team field on Wednesday. The Demon Deacons will be joined by Colorado, Drake, Drexel, Houston, Liberty, Mercer and Quinnipiac in the event.

The tournament will be held Nov. 17-20, 2017, at the University of the Virgin Islands’ state-of-the-art Sports and Fitness Center on the island of St. Thomas.

It is the Demon Deacons’ second appearance at the tournament. Wake Forest participated in the 2012 event, falling to Connecticut and Iona before defeating Mercer.

The bracket and game times for the tournament will be announced over the summer.
